4780 Polina (1979 HE5) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on April 25, 1979 by N. S. Chernykh at Nauchnyj. This asteroid was named after Polina Zakharova, an astronomer interested in stars and also director of the Kourovka Astronomical Observatory at Ural State University in Russia.[1]
